I purchased a brand new Mitsibushi l200 animal.(The name should of given me a clue) The beast of burden would have been a better discription.Despite numeriouse returns to the garage the vehicle is still a night mare.My guys at work complained that it was unsafe.Uncomfortable,Noisey and a lot like a 1930s tractor. But with a worse turning circle.
On my test drive after the guys complaits I AGREE. IT is a death trap.Poor brakes Bad gear box.1930s leaf spring suspension. And rattles that shoulde be in a carnival.
The whistles hoots and sqeaks need ear protectors.
Customer services just keep on ignoring the problems there solution is for me to buy my way out of the car and up grade at my cost to a better vehicle. As any one else had the same problems with an L200 Animal let me know.
It sounds like a built to a price ,for a particular usage type vehicle to me.If you want luxury motoring you have to pay for it.What is wrong with leaf springs?.off road work is generally very slow low gear work,not like the films,if that is what you are complaining about.If you want top brakes .,buy a racing car,otherwise,drive within the parameters your vehicle was designed for.If this vehicle is a pickup truck ,then it will have stiffer stronger springs for load carrying,if you run light you will have a hard ride and the accompanying noises.Be very careful braking,give yourself more distance,pickups are light at the rear, and tend to skid and lock up easily, when being driven by an amateur, who is not used to altering his driving technique to suit the vehicle he is driving at the time.
