how to make baby sleep comfortably?
My almost 4 month old has slept in her bassinet since she was born but i have started putting her in her crib for the last two weeks and she seems to wake up more in the middle of the night now. Before i moved her she was bumping into her bassinet while sleeping and it would wake her up. NOW She is waking up even more in her crib, and I think its because she is uncomfortable because its not soft enough. Any ideas as to how i can make it comfortable and soft for her without the risk of suffocation? I was thinking crib mattress pad, but not sure...Also i was wondering if i could put soft blankets under her sheet but i dont know if that is ok to do? Her bassinet was very comfy but too small for her. Her mattress was expensive but doesnt seem to be soft enough....ideas?
i already do the bath time johnson and johnson bedtime bath thing.... its while she is sleeping that she must feel uncomfortable because she used to sleep through the night and now doesnt
you may also look at whether its colder than her bassinet. its recommend to only have the mattress but you can place a thicker blanket on top of the fitted sheet to help keep her warm. maybe add some music or something that smells like you or her bassinet. she might want to smell something familiar.
