Would a bed and matteress fit in my car?

I have just brought a bed from ebay. Single, wooded bed with slats so the bed will come apart. I was wondering if it would fit in my car Peugeot 206cc car and most of all the mattress? Would it fold in half to go in my boot?

Lots of rope and have buddies hold it through the window, just in case. Just make sure you use good strong knots to secure it. And driver slowly and carefully.
