Is there a way to clean a dirty mattress?
I have 2 toddlers and a white mattress (not a good combination). I know I could just dispose of this mattress and get myself a brand new one, but the situation right now is not the best so I want to make the best of what I have. Well, I just bought this one recently, and my children have spilled soda, orange juice and other things on it. My 3 year old has also wet the bed sometimes when she sleeps there. Is there something that I could use to clean it? thanks.
Well, you have to be careful when you clean a mattress because if it doesn't dry properly, it will be a breeding ground for mold.
I suggest that you purchase some no-vacuum carpet cleaner. Yes, carpet cleaner. It will come out in a foam form. Use this on the mattress and allow to dry completely. If you live somewhere warm, you can dry it outside which is great to kill spores in the mattress. Good luck!
