Where can I find a 6 week checklist of things for a newborn baby.?
I am looking for a itemized check list for supplies for a newborn baby girl. This is my first baby and I am not too sure how much I am going to need as far as oinments, crib sheets, baby wipes, diapers, bottles, etc. I've already had my babyshower and I know I have enough clothes, and receieving blankets and things to keep her warm. I'm just concerned with the other things like creams, baby wash, baby powder, and crib sheets how many of those should I keep on hand if I have a mattress pad?If anyone could give me a heads up on how much of these things I will go threw the next 6 weeks it wiill be greatly appriciated. Cause I barely have any help and I am trying to get everything now since winter is comming and I will be stranded at home after tuesday of next week for 6 weeks.
well my baby is almost 12 weeks.. i will say i have used plenty of diapers adn wipes. and desitin (im one of those moms who put it on every diaper change to prevent it) i would always stock up on diapers, and the boxes i didnt use i just exchanged them for the next size! and wipes i use the pampers sensitive, i buy two boxes at once. just to stock up so im not having to go to the store often to buy them. i use plenty of onesies. so i recommend getting alot of those. because you will go through so many a day, between spit ups and an occasionaly leak. i also am a fan of sleep and play outfits. they are so easy to take off and put on. especial for diaper changes! (during the middle of the night!!!) and they look comfortable, i would probably wear them if the had them in our size! (haha jk) i would just get one big bottle of baby body wash, adn shampoo, and lotion. shoud last you quite a while!! i have 2 crib sheets, he has yet wet the bed. so i cant helpt you out with that section. i also have a thing called a sassy vented sleeper that you put in the crib, you can get it at walmart or target for 10 buck. it is used for a postion sleeper so they cant roll over. And luckily when my son had leaked through his diaper those few times, that stoped it from going through to the sheets and mattress. and you are able to throw it in the washer. Burp clothes are a plus! but sometimes im in a hurry so i just grab a recieving blanket. i also would recommend bibs, i didnt use them at first, but i wish i did. It stops the spit up from ruining their clothes. so you will go through less changes a day!! its much easier to change a bib than a whole outfit!! lets see.. i would get a few towels at least two, depending on how often you want to do laundry. if not often id get at least 4. and wash clothes. id say about 5-8. the mittens come in hand, if not mittens socks are good to keep them from scratching their faces. i wouldnt waste any money on shoes, they always fall off at this age.
