When redoing a bathroom, & 2 areas have mirrors (vanity and sink), is it necessary to have lighting over sink?
It is a small bathroom in which the vanity and sink are directly across from one another (less than 6 feet apart).
There is no rule here---personally I like the extra light when shaving and my wife usses it when doing make-up.
