How to clean your mattress after your period?

I got my period overnight and it leaked through my cover onto my mattress. I tried cleaning it but the stain ended up getting bigger. HELP! the mattress is new!

i have used hydrogen peroxide for this purpose, just pour it on and soak it up. it eats the blood fast almost instantly
