How Long Can You Keep Perfume?

i'm cleaning my room and noticed roll on perfume that i've had for a couple of years. it still smells good, but i was wondering if i should throw it out. i have kept it on my vanity in my room which is directly across from a window.

If it smells okay you can keep it. However in the future keep your perfume bottles in a cool dark plae. It's all right if it's on your vanity as long as there is no sun getting on it. You may lose some of the more subtle tones in the fragrance.
