What should I buy for my new apartment?
I am getting my first apartment and moving out of the dorms. I was wondering what kinds of things I should get?
I already am getting or have:

it comes with a fridge, dishwasher, and microwave.
What things have I left out?
Oh forgot to add I have a TV, dvd player, fish, and vacuum 
Sounds like you are pretty well set but you could use some bedding and window dressings and a TV for your stand. 
Basic rule when getting your first place is to concentrate on the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom because you'll need things for those rooms more than others.
You'll also want to buy new things to decorate.
