if you can spend a bit more than cheap and have better quality, I would suggest Target. I absolutely love that store.
you really just need to shop around at department stores. JCPenney's, Target, and even Kmart and Walmart have some good deals on decent furniture.
I looked at your bedding picture, and this desk looks very similar to the furniture style in the picture.
