HELP! i had my "artwork" on my boyfriend's headboard (bed)!?

i accidentally had ink staind (from my blue ballpen) on his light beige pvc headboard and now there's a small "grafitti" of blue ink on the rather new bed. any idea how to get rid of it? i've tried rubbing the area with powdered detergent but it's not doing any good help. what should i do nx? pls help. thanks.
it's not a fresh stain by the way. it's been there for some days but i just noticed it. i've just tried it with alcohol (mouthwash).. looks like it's somewhat lightened but i'm not too certain.. do u people think liquid bleach will work? man, i'm friggin' desperate now..

Nail varnish remover can do the trick but it might strip the finish from the PVC headboard, so do a tiny tiny spot test first to see if it affects the PVC.
A second step is to use the baby-wipes, they are very gentle and good on some stains without harming the material.
If that fails, ballpoint pen marks may respond to alcohol, try a small dab of alcohol (again, spot test first!).
If not, cover area with a white cloth soaked in a 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide and leave from 30 minutes to overnight (again, try a tiny bit first, I don't want you to ruin the whole headboard)!
If none of these work, you're going to have to let him know.....you can always buy the special "finish" dyes for leather and PVC and treat the whole headboard, it would be cheaper than buying a new one. The store he bought it from or a furniture/home depot type store should have products for leather/PVC furniture cleaning.
