We redrew it and filled it in and then I printed the block in a worn comfortable vine green. Green is new to us this season but I think it will grow.. Made in India. Machine washable. Best type of headboard for a HIGH, Slanted Ceiling?
I have a relatively small master bedroom with a very high, vaulted ceiling - a Cal-King bed and NO headboard. I have considered using a room-devider screwed to the wall, perhaps a door or even to make my own headboard and upholster it myself - the problem is I can't decide on the best shape for that wall! The highest part of the slanted ceiling is about 15' tall, and it slopes down to around 9-10' at the low point, the bed is on a solid wall (no windows/doors), so I need something to accommodate all that space - a flat, straight headboard just doesn't seem like it would do the trick... Any suggestions?
A too high headboard would look awkward, So my thinking is a medium tall headboard, and fill the space above with framed art or posters, different objects d'art, Try to keep your frames similar, and the other objects like framed crosses, statues on that shelving that holds only one object. Keep the things on the wall coordinated in colors of the bedcovering....Vases are also a good ofject to put on those little shelves. If the shelving is not the color you need, paint it.. Watch the ads for Hobby Lobby and you can get most of the stuff at half price. Place a table on each side of the bed, and a lamp, on the tallish side. Hope I didn't ramble on too much and you get some ideas from this....
