what type of a headboard should I get when I put my two twin beds together?
I have a heritage twin/full metal frame for both my twin beds.
Twins are 39.5 wide which put together equals 79 inches. The largest king called an "Eastern King" measures 76 wide. My concern would be that the brackets on the frame that attaches to the headboard won't quite line up, which means that the headboard will have to be propped against a wall.
You might be better off making your own custom headboard which is easy to do and very inexpensive.
