What color should I paint this wall?

Hey guys. My house is very white. I would like to paint a wall in my bedroom. I'm thinking the wall behind my headboard? The walls are all white. The furniture is a black color (cappuccino supposedly). The headboard is the same black cappunccion, with a bar ontop thats steel.

I think a deep dark, scarlet type red would be beautiful.
