mattress and box spring.. do they have to come together as a set?
I know warranties usually become void if you don't use a certain mattress with a certain box spring, but is there anything else? I want a new mattress but the box spring is only 6 months old so I see no use in replacing it, and the mattress that's "supposed" to be used with said box spring is $3,000!!! So is there any real difference in comfort or anything if I don't buy a set?
If you have a good box spring and buy a good mattress the bed will be comfortable! Don't worry, just buy what you need and not what they try to tell you what you need.
