FIT did a retrospective on her called "A Woman's Hand-Designing in America" from 1949-1969, showcasing over 25 years of her original artwork. Vera was a pioneer in design who cross-licensed into linens, tableware, scarves and sportswear. All of these items sported the distinctive "Vera signature with a ladybug" trademark. Susan Seid purchased the company and all of its assets in 2005. She and her team have been revitalizing the brand. |
