Fix timber slats on bed?

Does anyone know how to fix the timber slats on a bed?

Easy fix measure the size of the board or go to Menard's cause they are more helpful and less expensive and ask for a one by which is a 1x(3 is probably the width any one by will work but a 1x4 might be excessive and more expensive and the length you have measured depending on bed size you need) So either ask for a 1x3x size of board and ask them nicely to cut it to the exact size you need it doesn't have to be exact but it has to be close to the size you need usually it can be a little shorter but if it is too short it won't stay on the bed right or if too long it won't fit. So I would take the board in have them measure it and they will get you what you need in less than 5 min and probably about a buck and some change.
