Sleep number type mattress with air chambers?
Would anybody like to share experiences with one of those sleep number type mattresses? The description says there are two air chambers inside the mattress, of which you can adjust the firmness by remote controls. There is also a 3" thick layer of high density memory foam at the top.
I just bought one and recieved it yesterday so I have no real opinion yet, but I bought it through QVC. While I was shopping with them they had a lot of customer reviews. I found a couple of them that had complaigned about the center strip, but then there were many who contradicted these complaints. I would suggest you check it out there. The one thing for sure that no one really liked are the legs you can buy to support the bed, they apparently do not offer enough strength and the bed sags. I am building a simple box out of 2x6 lumber and 2x4 braces to support mine.
