Im going to buy a new bed ,will any Queen mattress fit any Queen Frame?
I know ZERO about beds and matteress.....im going to buy both...for example does : a queen mattress fit any Queen frame Especially if i buy them at different stores? ANY info will Help! and of course what about comfort...Uggh!!!
Queens are typically come in two different lengths, 80" and 84". So if your bed frame has a footboard you will want to measure the length from the interior of the headboard to the interior of the footboard.
However, if you are just wondering about the metal bed frame, and do not have to "fit" you bed inside of headboards/footboards, you should be fine. The metal frame has two ends that distinguish what end goes where. The end with the corner bracket holts the end that actually holds the bed within the frame. The opposite end of this fram should have to brackets that are actually open or flat, which will accomodate either length.
