The French word, matelassé means “quilted,” “padded,” or “cushioned,” and in usage with fabric, refers to hand quilted textiles. What is the difference between a Western King and a California King size bed?
I'm trying to buy a new bed and this one site posts a particular bed I like in both these sizes. Western and California. I would think they are the same! My mattress is supposed to a Cal-King. Now I am just completely confused. And I've already looked it up and still got strange conflicting results.
It was my understanding that they are the same as well. Call customer service and I'm sure they can tell you why they post both.
