Can a switch be added to a hard-wired vanity light outlet?
I am updating my bathroom, replacing the medicine cabinet and vanity light. The previous medicine cabinet had a built-in light with a switch built into the cabinet, hard-wired. I am replacing this with just a mirror and a new light, but I am having trouble finding either a vanity light that looks good and has a built in switch or understanding how I can add a switch to that power circuit (and make it look good at the same time). Any pointers would be greatly appreciated...point me to where I can find vanity lights with switches or information on how to add a switch to a hard-wired circuit...Thank in advance!
