Beside a "king size" bed, what else should I have or how should I decorate?

texture and warm tones. think of colours like caramel, cinnamon, and saffron (deep yellows, oranges, reds) with dark brown wood floors, dark furniture, etc. and a leather (fake?) reading chair. for curtains and bedding, choose fabrics that FEEL sensual, in colours that go with the paint and floor.
for lighting, go with wall sconces in oil rubbed bronze, on a dimmer switch. they give a nice even light, but you can turn them up when you need to function (cant put away laundry in the dark)
