Will a Queen Size Mattress and Boxsprings fit in an Chevy Astro Van with the seats out?

I have measured the back of the van and its certainly long enough it is the width that it is too small. I was thinking that if they were angled they would fit, but I am unsure and don't want to waste gas picking them up and then them not fit! I was wondering if anyone has tried this or might know.

Try a nice big, thick piece of foam rubber. Slap a comforter over it, throw in a coupla' pillows and you have a bed on wheels. I'm sorry you have to sleep in your car. Hope your luck looks up soon....Thought about a waterbed? You could have reserve water in case you overheat. Or...you could fill an air mattress with gasoline...kinda' like a spare gas tank...!!!!! Just kidding. LOL! full size would probably fit. Good luck.
