How to install a metal futon mattress hold?
I bought this metal futon a couple days ago and put it together despite the horrible directions. I still didn't install the last part, the metal holds that keep the mattress from sliding off the frame. The horrible directions do not explain how the part fits so if anyone has any experience please answer. Thanks.
The futon I put together had 2 "holds" they were positioned about 18 inches in from the ends on the bottom part of the futon they just hooked into 2 small holes in the frame on each piece they stick up about 2 inches above the frame. I eventually took mine off because we kept hitting the holds when we would sit down (we had a cheap thin mattress)the mattress would stay in place after a couple weeks.
