Do ikea beds support well?

My husband and I are about 450lbs put together and we're thinking about getting an ikea bed. We already have a mattress and boxspring so we just want the frame. So will the slats support us, and can we use the boxspring and the slats together? Thanks

hmm sorry i don't know if 450lbs is heavy or not.. but i have a ikea bed and its the best bed iver ever had. my last bed, the slats broke but this one is a coupe years old and still looks new. the slats are perfect. but it only has me sleeping in it, im 55kg.. ask the people at ikea. they should be able to help you.
