Student needing a very comfortable -- and affordable -- mattress. Which to buy?

I've recently ordered a Spring Air Back Support mattress at Sears and it seemed fine until I read some consumer reports on it -- didn't look that good. (Btw, this is my first time buying a mattress). It cost just over $530.

no offense, but honestly a cheep mattress (500) or an expensive mattress(800-5000) dont have much of a difference.sales resp often try to convince you that if a matress is made up of more "coils" its better for you. they talk to you about pressure points, and how tyhe matress will "relieve them" well, DUH thats what matresses do. ALL matresses, even those water or air beds from walmart. my bestfriends dad was a matress specailist and he honestly told us matressess are basically almost all the same. the key to a good matress is just testing out a few and see which one feels good to you (some people like soft matresses, some people like stiff ones)
