What kind of power converter do I need ?

I want to know if there is a power converter for an air mattress pump where I can plug that into my car lighter. We are going camping this weekend and the pump for the air mattress is a 120 volt electric pump. Is there a simple converter I might purchase at a hardware store? Sorry, I didn't know where to post this... Please help ... )

Jazzy Girl when it comes to power converters you will find they are rated for a specific load ( the one I have in my car is rated for 600 watts I would imagine this would be ample power for running your electric pump.. ) this type of power converter is wired directly to your battery. for a simpler route I would recommend going to your local hardware store and picking up a small power pack which is as a unit with a sealed battery and complete with 120 volt outlets ( on your pump it will list power consumption usually shown in watts or amps. ( I would imagine that a power pack with a 300 watt power inverter would be sufficient ..this size is also able to operate a small air compressor the kind you see commonly used for auto tires, basketballs and beach toys.
