Partial Bathroom Remodel?
I am doing a partial bathroom remodel (paint, re-tile bath and floor, replace mirror, vanity and fixtures and new lighting). I will be doing most of the work myself but I need to know in what order should the process begin and end. I know the floors should be last but what about the bath re-tile? Should the fixtures go on first then the tile or vice versa? Any books or websites that offer easy to follow assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your help!
Please understand that I'm not knocking your abilities, but re-tiling bath/shower walls is not really a beginner's project. If you don't do it right the first time, it is a tear-out & re-do...there is no patching option.

As to order of play...(1)Prep tub walls, (2)Install wall tile, grout & polish, (3)Remove vanity, toilet, base molding & prep floor, (4)Install floor tile, grout & polish, (5)Set new vanity & fixtures, (7)Prep walls for painting, prep for new light fixture, prime & paint walls & trim, re-install & paint base molding, (8)Re-set toilet, (9)Install new lighting fixture, (10)Install new mirror.
